<p>フタを開けると箱より一回り小さい本体が出てきますが､それでも大きいです｡2.7インチしか違いがないのですが､2倍ぐらいの大きさを感じます｡</p>

<p>早速起動して見るとシステムアップデートが出てきました｡日本語がかなり怪しいですがとりあえず実行し､旧タブレットからデータ移行作業を行いました｡すると､「Quickstepが繰り返し停止しています」と出てきてホーム画面が表示出来ません｡Google Playから別のホームアプリを入れようと思ったのですが､設定画面しか出せないのでGoogle Playが開けません｡もう初期化するしかないかなと半ば諦めていたのですが､Quickstepのキャッシュを削除したところ､あっさり直りました｡</p>

<p>Artpad Proを購入した一番の理由は､液晶の比率が4:3のため漫画を読むときの余白が少ないのです｡16:9の10インチタブレットと比較すると､白い枠が少なく画面一杯に表示されています｡</p>

<p>今度は横にして見開きにしてみましょう｡これも画面ほぼいっぱいに表示されて大迫力です｡</p>

<p>漫画もまるで単行本を読んでいるかのような大画面｡文字も読みやすいし最高です｡それと､画面表示モードに｢標準モード｣､｢Inkモード｣､｢パステルモード｣があり､｢Inkモード｣は白黒で紙質のような色で漫画が読みやすくなりますが､カラーも楽しみたいなら｢標準モード｣の一択です｡</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc2">しばらく使ってみてわかったこと</span></h2>



<p>漫画を読むには最高なのですが､重くて片手で読めないのと､寝ながら読むと寝落ちしたときに痛いですまない怪我をしそうでおそろしいところです｡でも､漫画がほぼ見開きで読めるようになったので､縦にしたり横にしたりすることなくなったのが大きいです｡ほぼ同じ大きさのiPadの方が軽かったりするのかなと思ったらiPadのほうが10gぐらい重かったのはビックリ｡まあ､液晶サイズも0.2インチほどiPadのほうが大きいですしね｡価格も安いしほんとArtpad Proはお勧めです｡</p>

<p>まずは以下のFQDNと通信できるか確認します｡</p>



<p>fds1.fortinet.com<br>directregistration.fortinet.com</p>



<p>FortiGateの管理コンソールから以下を実行してPingが帰ってこれば良いと思います｡</p>

<p>電源はACアダプタで動作するのでSATAの電源はどうするんだろうと思っていましたが､特殊なコネクタが付いたSATA電源ケーブルが付属していました｡</p>

<p>一番左の端子がDCジャックになります｡PS/2やD-Sub端子､シリアルポートも付いているので古いハードを使いたいときも融通が利きそうです｡</p>

<p>ACアダプタは付属しないので別途購入が必要です｡差し込み口が外径5.5mm 内径2.5mm のもので19Vであればなんでも良さそうです｡60Wのものを購入しました｡ハードオフから富士通製ACアダプタを買ってもよかったかもしれません｡</p>

<p>いままでの電源はPicoPSU-160-XTを使っていたので､かなり大きいACアダプタを繋いでいました｡今回からはかなり小さくなったので設置が楽になりそうです｡</p>

<p>余っていたM.2を使おうと思っていたのですが､なぜか認識してくれません｡M.2が壊れているのかなと思っていたのですが､別のノートパソコンでは正常に認識します｡使おうとしたのはSanDisk X600です｡仕様を見るとSATAタイプでした｡N100DC-ITXの仕様を見ると､M.2はPCIeとなっています｡そうか､M.2にはSATAとPCIeの2種類があったんですね｡</p>

<p>追加で<a href="https://amzn.to/4aupLBz" data-type="link" data-id="https://amzn.to/4aupLBz">PCIeのM.2</a>を購入したところあっさり認識してくれました｡うーん､想定外の出費になってしまったなぁ｡</p>

<p>いままでは80mmファンを取り付けて圧迫されたサーバ内でした｡</p>

<p>N100DC-ITXにしてからCPU回りが広くなり風通しがよくなりそうです｡</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc4">サーバ更新の理由</span></h2>



<p>稼働しているサーバはFedora36とCentOS Stream 8の2台ですが､アップデートしようとすると以下のエラーが出てしまっていたのです｡</p>

<p>使っていたCPUはAMD A6-3650です｡これも13年も前のものになります｡CPUが古すぎてOSも対応しなくなってしまっていたようです｡それに夏場になるとCPUが熱すぎるのか度々サーバが固まっていたりしていました｡</p>



<p>さてリプレイスするにしてもCPUは何にしようかと調べているとMini-ITXにCPU組込式のものがあることに気付きました｡CPUはIntel N100というものです｡組込CPUはスペックが低いんだろうなと思いましたが､PassMarkで比較したところびっくりしました｡</p>

<p>なんと倍以上のスコアでA6-3650は2,086でN100は5,464でした｡TDPなんて100Wから6Wです｡こんなに高速で低消費電力とは思いませんでした｡</p>



<p>ついでに消費電力を測ってみるとさらにビックリ</p>

<li>待機電力: 2~3W</li>



<li>稼働電力: 10~11W</li>
</ul>



<p>過去の記事を見てみるとA6-3650のアイドル時で40~42Wだったようなので恐ろしい省電力です｡</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc5">マザーボードを交換してから</span></h2>



<p>無事にCentOS Stream 9へアップデート出来ました｡動作が不安定だったのですがアップデートしたおかけかハードが変わったためか安定しました｡</p>



<p>アップデート前までは､たまにネットワークが繋がらなくなる不具合があったのです｡再起動すればなおりますが､原因がさっぱりわからなくて困っていました｡なにげに､Proxmoxもアップデートしたことも関係あるのかも｡</p>

<p>装着はレンズに押し込むとカチリとはまります｡通常のメガネは不要なのでフェイスパッドはレンズから一番近い状態に変更しました｡装着してみるととてと見やすい! Meta Quest 2でVRsatile を使っていた場合､手元が見えないので鼻の間から覗いてたりしていましたが､Meta Quest 3ではMRが強化されたためそのまま周りを見渡せます｡もう､鼻の間から外をのぞく必要はなくなりました! </p>



<p>ちょっと気になったのは､私の IPD は72mmなのですが Meta Quest 3 の IPD は最大70mmなので微妙に違和感はあります｡度付きレンズの焦点はおそらく真ん中になっていると思います｡そのためかスイートスポットが微妙にずれている感じがしました｡しばらく遊んでいると気にはならないです｡</p>



<p>Rsatile はIPDを指定して作成されているので違和感はありません｡でも､グラついたりするのがイライラするんですよね｡総合的にZenni VR度付きレンズの方がよいかもしれません｡</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc3">装着感について</span></h2>



<p>どんな肌触りだろうとワクワクしながら被ろうとしたら、あれ、うまく顔が入らない。カバーがジャマでメガネが入りにくくなったのです。なんとか先にメガネを挿入してから被ったらなんとかなりましたが、Meta Quest 3のよいところはメガネをしていてもするりとかぶれるところだったのに！</p>



<p>肌感触はいいですが、メガネのつるの圧迫感が強くなりました。うーん、次は専用レンズが欲しくなってしまいました。VRsatileを持っていますが、装着感がそんなによくないんですよね。公式のZenniのレンズだと7,499円と比較的安価ですし、買ってしまおうか…</p>

<p>写真の通りフレームをまっすぐにして後ろのダイヤルをカチカチと締めていたのですが、微妙にフェイスカバーの下側が浮く感じで、動くとずれるので画面がにじんでしまいます。こんなんじゃ標準の布バンドの方がゲームプレイでは快適だったと思っていました。</p>



<p>せっかく買ったのだからといろいろ試したところ、キュッと頭に吸い付くようなポジションがわかりました。</p>

<p>フレームを下の方に曲げて下後頭部とおでこを挟み込むようにすることでフィットするようになったのです。これだとフェイスカバーもしっかり固定されて快適になりました。</p>

<p>ちなみにですが、フレームをVの字にすると小さくできるので収納しやすいです。</p>

<p>このキットは M2 Pro をM3 Proへ変えてくれるものです｡元となるM2 Proも購入すべく､AmazonをみるとM2 Plusが安価になっていますがM2 Proは見当たりません｡何が違うのかよく分かりませんが購入してみました｡</p>

<p>後頭部のクッションは後付けで取り付けます。RとLが書いてあるので間違えません。スパナマークのところはバッテリーパックを取り付けるときに外すのでしょう。</p>

<p>後頭部クッションの取り付け完了です。このシリーズは額と後頭部で固定して、頭の上部は調整なしなので装着がとても簡単です。</p>

<p>後ろのダイヤルをマックスまで伸ばすとここまで伸びます。これならどれだけ頭がでかい人でも装着出来そうです。なお、うしろのクッションは上下に動くので頭にフィットしやすいです。</p>

<p>試しにそのままBOBOVR M2 Plusを装着出来るか試してみましたが、サイズが違くてダメでした。</p>

<p>作業的には左上にあるアームブラケットを交換することになります。右にあるクッションは予備パーツです。</p>

<p>まずアームブラケットのカバーをマイナスドライバーなどで外します。…あれ、外れないぞ。</p>

<p>グイグイやったらカバーが割れちゃいました。カバーの下に出てきた3つのネジを外します。</p>

<p>右がM3 Pro用のアームブラケットになります。Meta Quest 3を挟み込むところが大きくなっています。他は同じようですね。ぶっちゃけこの取り付けパーツだけ売ってくれればいいのに…</p>

<p>正面は1～2cm隙間をあけてベルクロを取り付けると書いてますがベルクロがなかなか入らない。マイナスドライバーを使ってようやく通せました。</p>

<p>フェイスカバーを取り付けて完了です。標準のフェイスカバーは鼻の隙間が大きいので、これもいいのがあったら交換したいですね。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc4">BOBOVR M3 Proの着け心地</span></h2>



<p>装着感は微妙にフェイスカバーの下側がゆるい感じがしますが、それが圧迫感を感じにくくなっていいのかもしれません。装着もフェイスカバーを先に顔につけて後頭部のクッションの角度を調整したらダイヤルを回すだけです。一度装着したらダイヤルを外すことなく角度を変えるだけですぐに外せるところがとてもいいですね。</p>



<p>BOBOVR公式からは送料込みで2,800円で買えました。到着までは10日かかりますので気長に待つ必要があります。M2 Plusは、Amazonで3,999円で買えるのでM3 Proを直接買うより安いです。</p>

<p>Quest 2と比較｡Quest 3は最大までクッションを伸ばしたところですがそれでも小さくなったのがわかります｡</p>

<p>クッションの両方の内側にボタンがあり､押しながらクッションを引っ張ると伸ばすことが出来ます｡これによりクッションを入れ換えることなくメガネをかけながら装着出来るようになりました｡</p>

<p>最大まで伸ばしたところです｡Quest 2とくらべてメガネをしたまま装着しやすくなりました｡瞳孔間距離(IPD)の設定もQuest 2では3段階での調整で最大68mmだったのですが､Quest 3では､58 &#8211; 70mmまで無段階調整が出来るようになりました｡私のIPDは72mmだったので､前よりは違和感なしで遊べそうです｡</p>

<p>コントローラーはトラッキング用のリングがなくなったのでとても小さく見えます｡でも､リングがあったおかげで机とかに置くとき固定されて便利だったんですよね｡</p>

<p>カチャッと音がして簡単にフタが外れるようになりました｡Quest 2では力でスライドさせていたのでこの改善はとてもうれしいです｡</p>

<p>フタを外すとストラップが簡単に取り外しが出来るようになっていました｡この機能によりサードパーティのストラップも出たりするかもしれません｡</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc4">MRがすごい</span></h2>



<p>Quest 3から起動するとホーム画面ではなくパススルーになりそこにメニューが出るようになりました｡色もカラーになり映像の歪みもかなり減って違和感がかなりなくなりました｡</p>



<p>空間の登録も簡単になりました｡Quest 2では空間を線で引いて指定していましたが､Quest 3ではぐるりと見るだけで勝手に認識してくれます｡</p>



<p>MR体験用ゲーム｢Fist Encounters｣が想像よりすごくてビックリ｡自分の部屋を突き破ってロケットが入ってきてケセランパサランのようなものを銃で撃って捕まえるのですが､実際の部屋とCGが違和感なくリンクしていて感動しました｡</p>



<p>グラフィックもすごく綺麗になっていて没入感がさらにアップした感じです｡アサシンクリードを早く遊んでみたいものです｡</p>

<p>アンテナは結構大きく好きな角度にできます｡設置場所は壁側になるので電波強度は少し心配です｡</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span id="toc2">Bluetooth キーボードの動作について</span></h2>



<p>KEY PALETTOは反応よく動作するようになりました｡ものすごく快適です｡Bluetooth接続しているものはゲームコントローラーやヘッドホンなどもあるのでこんなに快適なら早く導入すればよかったです｡</p>



<p>ついでにWi-Fiの速度を測定したら 70Mbpsぐらいしか出ませんでした｡無線ルータがWi-Fi 5までしか対応してないからかなと思いましたが､ノートPCで110Mbpsぐらい出るので壁付けしているから電波が弱いのでしょう｡でも､目的はBluetoothの改善だったので大満足です｡</p>

<p>数年前からGPUを交換したいなとずーと思っていましたが､GPUの水冷化をしようとなるとEKWBではハイエンドしか売っていないので買えないでいましたが､ホグワーツレガシーを買ってプレイしてみると映像がしょぼくみえてしまい我慢できず｢Palit Geforce 4070 ti｣を買いました｡GPUの水冷化はやめることにしたのです｡</p>

<p>なお､EKWB以外のメーカーならGeforce 4070 ti のウォーターブロックは売っていますが､素材がアクリルぽくて以前アクリルのウォーターブロックから水漏れしたことがあるのでアセタールじゃないとなんだか不安だったのです｡</p>

<p>16pin to 2 x 8pin 変換ケーブルとARGB SYNCケーブルです｡12VHPWRと記載しないのは12V-2&#215;6に変更されているのかな? ARGB SYNCケーブルはマザーボードのLEDと同期するようなヤツだと思いますが､LEDは必要ないので使いません｡</p>

<p>16pinのコネクタを見てみましたが12V-2&#215;6なのかどうかよく分かりませんでした｡驚いたのは基板自体は全長の半分ぐらいしかないところです｡これだけ大きいヒートシンクとファンがないとダメなんですね｡</p>

<p>バックプレートも基板にはしっかり接触してヒートシンクは風通しがよいようになっています｡</p>

<p>GPUの水冷をやめるのでチューブも交換することにしました｡いま使用しているフィッティングはKoolanceのG1/4(6mm)でなんとかちょうどよさげなものを見つけたので買ってみました｡改めてKoolanceのサイトを見たら内径G1/4(6mm), 外径G3/8(10mm)でした｡外径9mmだと負荷かかると抜けちゃうかも…</p>

<p>電源を通電させるアダプタを使い､ポンプをオンオフさせてエア抜きをします｡</p>

<p>リザーバーに空気が抜けてきたら､すごい勢いで空になるときがあるので冷却水を注水していきます｡なお､私はエアコン用の冷却水を使っています｡これだと腐らないので便利なんですよね｡</p>

<p>取り付ける前に､Geforce 4070 ti とRadeon RX480のサイズ比較をして見ました｡基板自体の大きさはほぼ同じなんですよね｡重さ比較すると4070 ti は1522g, RX480は723g でした｡この重さなら支え棒とかいらないかな?</p>

<p>Geforce 4070 ti の取り付け完了です｡比較的ケーブルがすっきりしていいですね｡GPUの16pinは溶けたりしないように念入りに差し込みました｡</p>

<p>設定が最高になることで分かりやすいのが窓の格子がしっかり表現されているところです｡レイトレーシングにより光源がリアル? になりました｡</p>

<p>レイトレーシングは負荷が高いですが､DLSSと併用することで高画質かつ高FPSで楽しめることが分かります｡</p>



<p>気になっていたファンなどのノイズですが､平常時はまったく音が聞こえません｡ゲームをやっているときも気になりません｡ファンが回っているのか確認したいぐらい静かでした｡温度も62度(気温25度)ぐらいで許容範囲です｡長期間使うことでファンのガタツキが出てうるさくなるかもしれませんが､想像以上に静かで水冷って… と考えてしまいました｡</p>
